Neville Bain is a leading expert in good governance and board evaluation. Neville has served on the boards of some of Britain’s and global best known companies both as an executive and an independent director. He has worked internationally for a large part of his career with Cadbury Schweppes Group plc where he rose to the position of Managing Director of their world-wide confectionery business and then to Group Chief Financial Officer. Currently he is the Chairman of the UK Institute of Directors where he is a strong advocate of good governance and director development. Neville has international expertise in corporate governance and board and committee effectiveness. He has worked internationally for his entire career and his deep interest in business education is reflected in his publications, which includes four books, the latest of which is entitled "The Effective Director". Neville graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a Master's degree in Economics and Accounting. |
