Alexander is the head of our Board practice and works on Board and top executive searches. He is one of the leading Russian experts in corporate governance. He instituted the Independent Directors Association (IDA) in Russia. As Chairman of the IDA Supervisory Board he is an active participant and guides the transition programs of Russian companies to international standards of corporate governance. At different periods in his managerial career he has led the Department of External Economic Affairs and Investments at the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation. He has experience serving boards in telecommunication, consumer, private equity and infrastructure companies.
